Microprobes and autosamplers

To follow up on Edward Chainani's post concerning microprobes, I'm
interested in any experiences people have had with running autosamplers with
3mm tubes, since we're considering shifting our open access instruments over
to 3mm ATMA inverse probes, rather than 5mm direct probes. Bruker
autosamplers transfer samples by holding the tube - is this reliable with
3mm tubes, or not?
