Pulse programs are automatically compiled when you start 'ppg' or 'ased'
or 'showpp'. That's the only time they are compiled, apart from the 'zg'
case. You can't compile outside XWIN-NMR.

Why do you get this error "sometimes" ? Either 'ppg' can compile or not.
Or are you transfering datasets sometimes after they have been run with
'zg', and sometimes before ? It could make a difference for 'ppg'
whether the file "pulseprogram" is already in the acquisition directory
or not.

Best wishes, Mike !
