Stack Plot of 2D data without using splitser

Is there a way with XWIN-NMR or XWIN-PLOT to generate a stack plot of 2D
data without using SPLITSER? The application hotline gave me this approach.
Splitting the serial data into a series of 1D data seems to be a crude way
of doing this. I tried to use EDGW and PLOTW which are described in the
XWIN-NMR but I can't get it to work.
