Spinning Problem on an AMX-2-500

Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem controlling the spin rate (std 5mm sample) on an
AMX-2-500 running XWIN 2.5. It is set to 20 Hz, and reaches fine, holds for
about an hour and then over shoots (35 or 40 Hz). It then undershoots the
20 Hz setpoint and finally stops after a few hours. I've run a spincal
twice from the BSMS keyboard and it passed each time, but hasn't fixed the
problem. The screws in the upper shim stack are also tight. It also does
this with several collars including new ones. Anyone have any idea, or
experience this before?

Thanks much,

Bernie O'Hare
