Linker error when compiling AU files in XWINNMR 2.6 on SGI

Hello all,

I have run into the problem where I cannot compile any AU programs either with the compileall command or after editing or viewing using edau. This occurs with all AU programs, both those that I have written and those that came stock from Bruker. It looks like a linker error with unresolveable externals:

collect2: ld returned 1

Unresolved:

Start_unimar

/usr/bin/ld:

Get_commamd

Exit_unimar

CPR_object

getcurdat

setcurdat

CPR_exec

I have tried re-installing XWinNMR but that does not help. Is it possible that compile is calling the wrong linker? The lib files are in /u/prog/lib and the header files are in /u/prog/include. Does anyone out there have any insight into this problem? We are running XWinNMR 2.6 on an SGI under IRIX 6.5.7f.

Thanks,

Ian.
