Dear BumList-
(My apologies if you see this twice via cross postings).
We have had a recurrent problem for more than two months on our Bruker
Avance solids NMR spectrometer that is about two years old. The PC
(Windows XP) host and the CCU lose communication and we cannot run the
spectrometer. Bruker has had us try a number of things, most of them
multiple times, without solving the problem. I am looking for any insights
into this issue that other may be able to share!
Here is a summary of what we have done:
Re-installed diskless several times.
Replaced CCU board multiple times.
Check all voltages and fans.
Checked all cables and physical connections.
Checked all firewall and internet settings.
Multiple reboots of PC and CCU.
The last item is the only one that seems to work - for a day or two perhaps
and then the connection dies again. When its out we cannot telnet or ping
to spect.

Any ideas? If there is interest I will post a summary.
Jeff
