NB: # of central atom lone pairs = (3*6 -8*2)/2 = 1 in both O=S+-O- and O=S=O structures
Sulfur does not obey OCTET rule
BUT the formal charge = 0
This is better structure than O=S+-O-
since it reduces formal charge (rule 6).
