Has anyone ever tried to replace the $900 (at least they were two years ago)
titanium-jacketed Bruker thermocouples recommended for use on the high field
systems with anything cheaper and commercially available? If so, I'd be
interested to hear about it, whether or not it worked satisfactorily.
