HP deskjet 506C, XWIN NMR, colour plotting

Hello List.
We have recently upgraded our console with an SGI Indy running X-win NMR. I've
installed an HP deskjet 560c in uxnmr/x-winnmr using the HP deskjet 550c driver.
It works perfectly for Black&White plots, but when I specify any other colours,
e.g. an integral in red or negaitve countours in red, the corresponding objects
are not plotted. Is this what is to be expected, or have I overlooked something
obvious ?
