ASSISTANT (NMR INSTRUMENTATION), Associate staff AS-5355.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the director in the operation of instrumentation
facilities, majority in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy, maintain
and repair of spectrometers, assists and train users, and interacts with
external vendors and repair agents, develop protocol and modify hardware
and/or software for NMR analyses. Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree in
science, electronics or engineering and three years of relevant work
experience. Master or Ph.D. is preferred. Job requirements include
electronic and mechanical skills, ability to work with application software
(Unix experience preferred) and computer-interface hardware, and good
communication skill. SALARY: Commensurate with experience. Review of
