Dear All,

I have received several replies to my query about sources of pens for
the HP7550A. I have thanked all the senders individually. I would
like to thank you all again collectively and provide a distillation
of the 9 or so replies for the benefit of all listmembers. In the
interest of space saving I have not acknowedged the sources of the
info. I have the original details on file.

Thank you All,

Andy.

Some general computer supplies companies like INMAC in the UK
produce "clone" pens for these plotters.
===================================================================
HP have discontinued all of their pen plotters in favor of inkjets.
However, I find it strange that they would also discontinue their
plotter pens.

I use the following vendor to get pens that are excellent in quality,
although somewhat expensive. I like the 63-24-0011 ceramic tip pens
since they do not dry out easily.
