Postdoctoral position for one, eventually two, years is available for
studying pore structure in paper and related materials. The project is a
cooperation between the Royal Institute of Technology and the Institute for
Surface Chemistry, Stockholm, funded by the Swedish Fund for Strategic
Research (SSF) "Surface Science and Printing Program" (S2P2).
The main method is NMR, both PGSE, spin relaxation, and cryoporosimetry.
The NMR experiments are to be supplemented by other methods, such
as DSC and profilometry. Background in PGSE NMR or stray field imaging is
particularly suitable. The position is available immediately, and
commencement before February 2000 is preferable. The non-taxable stipend will
be 190 kSEK/year.
