SIMPLEX problems---FOLLOW-UP.

Dear Colleagues,

thanks for the responses. To clarify:

Gradient Shimming is wonderful, providing your probe has gradient coils. If
not, then SIMPLEX on FID area is strongly desirable. It works very well on
my AC-300, so why not on the DRX-500?

I know about Salnikov's SIMPLEX AU. It installs with XWinNMR 3.0 for
Windows NT and Bruker UK drew my attention to it.

Unfortunately, it does not work with FID area in the NT version. (Yes, I
know that "real scientists use UNIX", but the NT version is what I've got
to work with.)

Does anyone know a fix for this?

I've emailed Mike Engelhardt about the "tune" version, but he's at
Billerica at the moment. I hope to see him at the UK Users Meeting, in
November.

Any additional feedback about the "tune" SIMPLEX on FID area would be welcome.

Regards Jim.
