Disk drives for MSL/Aspect 3000

Our MSL-300/Aspect 3000 system has a 96MByte CDC Cartridge Module Drive which
served us faithfully until a head crash occurred last month. In anticipation
of such an event, we had a secondhand standby unit ready to go, but it was of
lesser mettle and suffered the same fate after a week of use. We have located
a supplier of reconditioned CDC drives, but would have preferred if possible
to use current drives because of their greater reliability. So the question
is: does anyone know if an interface has been developed which would enable an
Aspect 3000 computer running Adakos/DISMSL to operate with an up-to-date hard
drive? The address of the supplier (if one exists) would be appreciated.
