ASPECT 3000 files, offline processing.

Dear Bruker-users,

I have been following the correspondence about file-transfer and off-line
processing with interest, but I missed a fair bit of it when our network
went down.

I routinely transfer files from an ASPECT 3000 to a PC for archiving, but
the only off-line processing that I can do is with a single copy of GRAMS
386, which came free with a second-hand FTIR! (It's not networkable and not
very friendly).

I am familiar with WIN-NMR, I have a demo copy of FELIX for Windows and I
am waiting for a demo copy of JEOL's new Windows program, but I cannot
afford to buy any of them.

Does anyone know of any free (or, at least, very low cost) software which
could be used for very routine processing of KERMIT-format, ASPECT 3000
fids, on our PC network, or even on a few selected PCs? Academic use only.

Regards Jim Bloxsidge.
