I'd like to introduce myself as a new member of the BUM list. Beforehand,
I have to tell that we don't use Bruker or GE instruments. We run JEOL
spectrometers instead. Our equipment is: Alpha500, EX400, GX400, 2 x PMX60.
A colleague informed me about the existence of BUM as a means for
exchanging experiences with spectrometers among users. Since
I often come into contact with users (mainly Bruker) at conferences
and other events, I feel that this might be a good chance to continue
and intensify these contacts.
However, I don't know if I will be accepted as a new member on the list for
being a user of a "foreign" brand of spectrometers. So, if you feel
that BUM should be restricted to Bruker/GE users only, please let me know,
I will then immediately apply to remove my name from the list.
