We recently had installed an AMX500 and am AMX600. It is a shared facility
and because my lab is located in the other campus, we process our data
in Felix. Felix is capable of making a file in HPGL, the Hewlett-Packard
graphics language. We have connected to the aspect processing terminals
(not the main machine terminals) large HP plotters - HP7596. What we
hoped to do was to make plots in felix, in HPGL and then ftp the file
to the Aspect terminal and plot it out there on the big plotter.
For some reason we cannot get this to work. It will print out a small
8.5x11 plot on the HP printer over here in St. Paul (from a Sun workstation,
after being ftp'd from our sgi), but not at the nmr lab.
HP says nothing is wrong with our setup on their equipment, Bruker says
the same, but no plot. Anyone run into this problem before?
