Dear bruker users:
I recently did 31P MAS nmr with H-decoupled for a sample which was
Ag[P-(Ph-CH3)3]2NO3 with P-Ag-P bonding structure in our MSL-300 spectrometer.
The spin rate was 4.0K. The spectrum shows doublet isotropic peaks which is due
to P-Ag J-coupling(480Hz). The interesting is that the sideband of each doublet
is split to three peaks seperated about 121 Hz with area ratio 1:2.5:1.5.
If the splitting of sideband is due to the J-coupling between two P's or p with
another Ag, why those couplings do not show up in the isotropic peaks?
Does anyone know the answer? Thank you for your attention.
