Simple LIMS for Multi-User NMR Labs

Please ignore the multiple postings.

I was just asked about whether anyone in NMRland had put together a rather
simple program (database, spreadsheet, etc.) that would do timesheet
tracking in a multi-user instrument facility. That is, a simple probably
homegrown program that has some LIMS attributes: Instead of a written
signup/log sheet users would go to a networked terminal, be presented with
a signup screen and instrument schedule, the schedule would be rule based,
accounting would be possible, etc.. Ideally, the screens would be
available on every conceivable cpu type (mac, ibm-pc, unix flavors, etc.)
and would be free. (No one said these guys weren't demanding!).

Anyone have anything like this running, even if not "ideal"?

Chris
