Problem setting spectral width

Dear Bruker Users,

We have an AMX400-WB spectrometer which we use for both micro imaging
and high resolution NMR.
We recently updated the UXNMR program from version 940501.3 to
version 940510.B.6.1. This new software is neccesary to support some
new hardware used for the imaging and is supposed to be the only
one supported by Bruker.

However, when using the new software we experience trouble when
trying to change the parameter sw to set a new window. When typing
sw on the prompt the program simply refuses to change the parameter.
When changing sw from the eda menu the system gives several error
messages

("function not found :DECIM=dwdeccal(5.0e5/(SW*SFO1),AQ_mod,DIGTYP,
DIGMOD"; "illegal arythm. expr : ... "; "Illegal input : ... ")

before changing the parameter. However this change appears to be
not always permanent but it turned out that sometimes after exiting
eda typing of sw still gave the old value.

After contacting Bruker about that problem we were sent a set of
acquisition parameter files, acqu and acqus. After creating a data
set containing these two parameter files we were able to change sw
in that data set. The problem seems to be in a slight difference
between the new and old parameter files. The new parameter files
contain several parameters which the old ones do not include, for
example the parameter DIGMOD which shows up in the new files in both
acqu and acqus, whereas our old parameters contain that parameter
only in the acqus file.

Has anybody experienced similar problems when changing from one
software version to another ? And is there an easy, reliable way
to update our old parameter / data sets such that they work with the
new version ?

I would greatly appreachiate any advice
