We recently had the hard disk crash on our AM400. We installed the HD
from our Aspect 1000 data station (identical, Hitachi DK512-S disk)
and generally got things running again. Well almost running, as
anything requiring that an .AU program be compiled (AS, AU or saving
a .AU program from EDIT) causes the Aspect 3000 to crash. Put the disk
back on the data station, amd everything works. The Aspect memory
seems to be OK (MOSTEST) and TWINEX indicates no disk problems.
Reinstalling ADAKOS and DISNMR did not solve the problem. This is
with DISR89; DISR94 will not run at all.
Any ideas? A straight ZG works fine.....
