We are trying to do backward linear prediction (BLP) on extremely short FID's of
nikel compounds on our DRX300. This to eliminate probe ringing (first few
points) and enhance the signals (just trunkating the first few points works
reasonably well). However the "things" that come out after BLP do not resemble
spectra at all. All the parameters are set according to the Xwin-nmr manual.
My question is has anybody tried to do BLP on short FID's, am I missing a
parameter, is it even posiible to do BLP on short FID's?
