we use the standard bruker warning signals in the door and elsewhere...
and people here seems rather more sensitive to them, some are really
scared when they get in for the 1st time.

also, for the most exposed magnet (closest room to the service door) we
use (shoulder height) partitions to create a sort of restricted area
inside the room. In other labs i've seen they use plastic chains with
warning signs for a similar purpose. Some time ago we had a line painted
on the floor, but it wasn't as effective in keeping people away as a
physical barrier.
