SGI question

This question has more to do with my computer system than
my spectrometer, but I thought you people might have an
answer.
Currently I am using Hummingbird Exceed(an X windows program)
to access my SGI O2 remotely from a PC. I am considering
purchasing a program for my SGI that is based on OpenGL rather
than X. I am told that Exceed would not be able to handle this.
Does anyone know of a product for my PC that would allow me
to get into my SGI and run GL programs remotely?
