PhD NMR Spectroscopist

The Physical and Analytical Chemistry Research Division of Eastman
Chemical Company has an entry-level opening for a PhD NMR spectroscopist
in its Spectrometry Applications Research Laboratory. Working knowledge
of state-of-the-art high-field NMR techniques applied to solutions,
including 1D and nD homo- and hetero-nuclear NMR is required.
Experience in the interpretation of 1D and nD solution-state spectra of
synthetic industrial polymers is preferred. The focus of this position
is the application of NMR techniques to effectively solve structural
problems. The successful candidate must be a problem-solver who
exhibits good communication skills and functions well in a team
environment.
Eastman Chemical Company, which employs approximately 350 PhD scientists
