Although we have recently installed a DRX500 spectrometer
at our institute, we are yet to utilize its full potential in structural
biology problems partly due to our lack of exposure to practical
aspects of multidimensional experiments and associated processing
of data.
I am planning to visit NYC for couple of weeks later this year. I
was wondeing if I could visit some active NMR laboratory there
where structural biology is the main focus and preferably a Bruker
machine is in use. There won't be any financial burden on my host
except that someone should be willing to spend some time to help
me get familiar with the actual experimental protocols used in
structure determination. I could, for example, be part of some ongoing
experiments on some biological macromolecule. I am familiar with the basic
theory and have performed experiments (about seven years ago
and again starting now - so the need to catch up) myself.
If you think that you can help me please contact me directly, and,
if needed, I will supply additional information.
Thanks in advance.
