Floppy and Hard Disk Replacement on ASPECT3000

As an attempt to avert disaster I want to simultaneously replace our ancient
but functioning 160MB hard drive on our MSL and finally get away from our
last 8 inch floppy drive and go to 3.5".

Unfortunately Bruker only supports going to the SCSI bus and we don't want to
invest that much just to keep the MSL going a few more years. We would like
to have a combo HD/FD box like we have for our AC200 (B-DS160F/PN H1729/ECL01).
Spare hard drives are available from MR and Computer Field Services but I have
not yet found any source for connecting up a 3.5" floppy drive in lieu of the
8".

Anybody done such a thing recently enough to give me some hints of sources
or alternative approaches?

Anybody sitting on some dead spectrometer with such a HD/FD unit in it that
wants to make a few bucks?

Thanks in advance for any clues.
