Problem: >sino (real), which yields S/N values
P-185, XWIN NMR Softwaremanual
Equipment used:
Bruker AMX400, xwin-nmr2.1, SGI O2 with IRIX 6.3
The values obtained with the command ">sino real" do not
reflect what we see on the screen when we compare two
spectra:
spectrum 1 and 2 originate from the same sample, but were
obtained using 31P NMR with different XWINNMR
parameters.
Spectrum 2 has a superior S/N ratio, as seen on display with
DUAL. However, ">sino real" delivers:
Signal 1 Signal
spectrum 1 1.89 1.38
spectrum 2 1.62 0.96
Is there something else one should pay attention to which is
not listed in the software manual?
Thanks for suggestions,
-Siggi
