It is a centrifugal (squirrel-cage) fan, small (less than 5 inches
square) and of course 220V. The problem is that Bruker quotes the
necessary airflow as 2.6 m3/min (which I convert to about 90 cfm).
I have been unable to find a small enough fan with sufficent
airflow. I have done both a websearch and looked in the Thomas
Register and only found a couple of companies that make such small
fans. Aside from the voltage problem, the fans listed don't have
the flow.
So, if anyone had a source for this type of fan, please let me
know. The students are getting restless!
thanks,
Karen Ann
