We have a SGI/O2 computer on both of our ARX250 and DRX300 spectrometers.
We have the same problem with both O2s. Sometimes the communication
between the O2 and the spect stops and we cannot connect to spect and start
xwinnmr. We found out that if we disconnect the ec0 cable from the O2
(disconnect from outside world) everything will be fine again. This
problem seems to be caused by the network system problem but we don't
understand why. We also have an Indy with our DRX500 and it is not
affected by this problem. Anyone else have the same trouble with the O2?
We'll be glad to not have to disconnect the ec0 frequently.
