Hello all:
I have come up against another odd xwinnmr 2.5 problem (the slow phasing
problem I mentioned a few weeks ago is not yet solved, although I have
received some good suggestions regarding it). I just upgraded a drx500
which was running xwinnmr 2.1/irix 6.3 (o2 r5000) to xwinnmr 2.5
patchlevel 4. On this machine I notice that 2D processing does now not
function properly. If I process any 2D file for the first time (i.e. when
the 2rr, 2ri and dsp* files do not yet exist), I get the error message
"SI(F1) and SI(F2) status parameters inconsistent with XXXXXXXX bytes size
of 2rr (file is too small)", where XXXXXXXX is some file size which is
indeed smaller than 4*SI(F1)*SI(F2) as one would expect. When the data are
displayed, it appears to be "sheared", the data looks "tilted" and is
pretty much useless. The raw data is fine as I have confirmed by
processing it offline (on another machine). Has anyone else ever run up
against this? I think xwinnmr 2.5 doesn't like me........
Thanks again in advance for everyones help.
