xwinnmr for NT question

I have installed the NT version of xwinnmr on a PC which we are using
purely as a datastation (no spectrometer is connected). We are
transferring the data to the PC either by using WS-ftp to copy the entire
directories over, or by tar'ing the data on the SGI, sending it over, then
un-tar'ing it with WinZip. Everything seems to work fine, with the
exception of printing out the parameters. When we give a command like "lp"
or "lpa", or "xwp-lp", we get two errors "no executable statements in
pulse program", and "can't find file format.lpa". If the format.lpa file
existed in the SGI directory initially then we don't get this second error
and the parameters are printed out correctly, but otherwise no parameters
appear. Has anyone else run into this problem? If I do get a solution I
will let everyone know.
Thanks very much.
