gramicidin standard sample

I would like to purchase a standard compound to use as a training and
demonstration tool for conformational analysis and I have noticed that the
Bruker literature often refers to 50mM gramicidin in dmso-d6 as a standard
sample for 2D experiments. I have also noticed that Wilmad sells a standard
sealed sample of Gramicidin S in dmso-d6. I have a few questions about this
sample.

- Since Wilmad sells this as an NMR standard, is it used for any particular
performance test and where would I find the details of this test?

- Does Bruker degas the samples that it uses in its demonstrations and would
the Wilmad sample probably be degassed?

- Does anyone know of a literature reference dealing with the conformational
analysis of gramicidin?

Thanks.
