it's very convenient to get the necassary patches to solve the
Y2-problem. You had to click to
and on this page to select 'patch sets' under the point 'Patch'. Now you
will be asked for your UserID and password. With the decision to cancel
you will be lead to the Supportfolio where you can get your account free
of charge. Inside your account you can choose your system and send to
sgi the list of your actually installed patches. These list is easy to
get with the shell command:
versions -b | grep patchSG | cut -f3 -d" "
The answer of SGI are the necassary patches, you can download and easily
install.
