Associate
in NMR spectroscopy. Extensive experience and strong background in solid
state NMR and a Ph.D. in Chemistry or equivalent are required. The
individual will assist the Associate Director of the NMR facility in
maintaining several spectrometers: 800, 600, 400 and 300 MHz and is
primarily responsible for the operation of the 300 and 400 MHz Bruker
wide bore spectrometers. The position comes with the opportunity to
collaborate with faculty, particularly in the area of environmental
chemistry. Responsibilities include instrument operation, training of
operators, and keeping up with developments in the field via professional
