Laser printer/plotter

Has anyone out there had success using a laser printer for a plotter
on an ASPECT-3000 running DISNMR? I am particularly interested in
finding a laser printer that can handle 11"x17" paper. I know many
lasers now support HPGL, but not all HPGL implementations are
compatible with DISNMR. I would love to hear any war stories from
those who may have ventured into this particular quagmire. Thanks -
