Position available August 8, 1994 at the Walt Disney Memorial Cancer
Institute (WDMCI) to use multi-dimensional NMR to study the structure of
nucleic acids and proteins identified as potential cancer chemotherapy
agents. WDMCI, a division of Florida Hospital, will soon be opening
a 16,000 sq.ft. research facility which will house faculty from both
Florida Hospital and the University of Central Florida. The successful
candidate will join the Laboratory for Structural Biology which is
equipped with a Varian UnityPlus 600 MHz spectrometer with triple
resonance and gradient capabilities and several SUN and SGI workstations.
A strong background in multi-dimensional NMR of nucleic acids and/or
proteins is required. Experience in pulse sequence design, computer
programming, and/or structure calculations would also be useful.
Starting salary will be $30,000 plus benefits. Send curriculum vitae
