We are looking for some advice on generating gradient shapes on our AM360 WB
that is equipped with standard bruker microimaging accessories.
The problem:
We want to scan K-space in a non-orthodox manner.... to do this we need to
generate fairly complex gradient shapes, amplitude modulated sine and
cosine shapes, simultaneously in two of the gradient coils. From the
literature it seems that the exisiting DISNMR wave form compiler will only
load one shape at a time for the gradients...... is this so? Is there
another option?
In addition, we will want to increase and decrease the amplitude of these
gradients rapidly. Am I correct in assumiing that there is no variable
input to control gradient strength? Are there standard approaches
available to create such an input function?
I would appreciate any insight that can be brought to bear on the problem.
