I should point out that we find that the plot code generator is NOT NEEDED
when the remote printer is on a machine running UXNMR. In our experience all
you need to do is make a net printer (on an indy use /usr/sbin/mknetpr) on the
local machine that points to the printer queue that was defined by cfpp on the
remote machine. To use this new printer simply TYPE its name in 'edo' - using
the right button to get a 'pick list' won't work in this case).

Martin Waugh tells me that to print remotely from an aspect station to an INDY
all he did was run mknetpr on the INDY to create a phantom printer and then
copy the interface file so created to the AspectStation and a new printer
installe dusing this interface file ('man lpadmin' for more info). The
phantom printer can them be removed.

I played with plot code generators some months ago and they are not for the
faint hearted! But if you are brave you can get them to work even with uxnmr
- but as I implied above we then found we didn't need them.
