Some prefer to call it organized or structured :-)

You can use Samba to export the unix directories as Microsoft
file systems (shares) - we use this, and tt works VERY well. Or, you can use
a smart
ftp program such as ws-ftp to transfer entire directory structures. I think
you can also
still get PCNFS (from SunSoft?) to mount NFS exported file systems with
a Microsoft machine.

No experience with Xlink.
