Hi Folks,

We used to send out 2d plots on a very expensive network laser color
printer five floors away and up.
Last week, I happened to borrow a "very inexpensive $99" color printer
EPSON stylus 800.
I used BCJ800 driver and the color contour plots look great! Speed is a
little slow but it doesn't brother us.
I am considering to buy a medium price ink jet for the lab. for cheaper
maintenance and efficiency.

There are so many ink jet color printers on the market these days and
they all are very affortable price (as compared to Laser color)
e.g a Cannon BJC-8200 which has a 1200x1200 dpi resolution (~$299).
e.g. EPSON has even a more attractive one STYLUS 980 that has 2880x720
resolution ( ~ $249).
All have Paraell, USB, Mac interfaces.
The XWINNMR cfpp doesn't list the driver explicitely for all these
models

Would like anyone could share your expenrience.

Thank you very much

Yiu-fai
