Our group is focused on the development of synthetically useful organic methodologies and catalytic processes. Major areas of research include the exploration of novel organocatalytic and transition metal catalysed transformations, and expanding the scope of the aqueous Wittig reaction via the development of useful organophosphorous reagents. As well, we are interested in the application of our chemistry towards the chemical-biology investigations of anti-parasitic, anti-viral, and anti-cancer compounds, including complex natural products.
