Given the current unprecedented circumstances caused by COVID 19, regrettably, the Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology has decided to make changes to many of the Spring/Summer term offerings.

Chem 1A03 and 1E03 will continue to be offered, however lectures and labs are going on-line. Changes are being made to enrolment in these courses to reflect the virtual aspect of the courses and students are encouraged to check their enrolment on Mosaic.

The 2020 Spring/Summer Term offerings of CHEM1AA3, 2OA3 and 2OB3 have been canceled .  After careful consideration, this decision was reached because the in-person laboratory component cannot be duplicated in an on-line experience without substantively compromising the learning experience for students. These courses will be automatically dropped from students’ enrolment records.

We plan to modify the enrolment capacities in the 2209 and 2211 terms to allow a larger number of students to access Chem 1AA3, 2OA3 and 2OB3.
