Two CCB Faculty Members Honoured with CSC Awards

We are delighted to announce that two of our faculty members have been selected to receive prizes from the Canadian Society for Chemistry.

 Mike Brook is the 2023 winner of the Canadian Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Award for Green Chemistry (individual category), which is presented to a Canadian scientist who has made significant contributions to advance green chemistry and/or engineering, including the technical, human health and environmental benefits.

Phil Britz-McKibbin (left) has been awarded the 2023 W. A. E. McBryde Medal, which recognizes a Canadian scientist with significant achievements in the field of pure or applied analytical chemistry.
